Bhopal: Blood donation camp at NLIU

BHOPAL: A blood donation camp was organised at NLIU to promote blood donation among youngsters by Blood Connect and Red Cross Society. The blood donation witnessed participation of more than 50 donors, among which many were first time donors. The camp was organised in the mobile van of Hamidia blood bank. Ananya, Jagat, Vatsal, Siddharth, who donated blood were very happy at the experience and said it was only after donating that they had realised how good it felt to donate blood and were also of the opinion that such camps should be organised very frequently on the campus. The students also signed about their experience of donating blood. Professor Tapan Mohanty, coordinator,  said the blood donation was organised to bring awareness among the students and also youth today were very active in participating at events which were directed towards developing a better society.
