Bhopal: Two BJP women leader clashed on a petty issue on Thursday. Mayor of Satna Mamta Pandey has lodged an FIR at Civil Lines police station against BJP leader Neeta Soni. Mamta Pandey in her FIR said that she went to attend a meeting held with Union Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday. She said that many BJP office bearers participated in the meeting. After the meeting district president of Kamal Shakti Neeta Soni came to her and alleged that she was working for the Congress candidate in place of the BJP candidate.
Soon the issue took an ugly turn and both woman leaders clashed. Neeta allegedly twisted the arm of Mamta. Some BJP members interfered and tried to pacify both. Later, Mamta went to a hospital where she found that she had fractured her hand. She said that after temporary treatment she went to the Civil Lines police station and filed an FIR against Neeta Soni. Police station incharge BB Khan informed that the police have registered a case against Neeta Soni under section 294, 323 and 506 of IPC on the complain of the mayor.
