Bhopal: BJP using NaMo App for polls, alleges Aam Admi Party

Aam Admi Party has filed a complaint with chief electoral officer seeking action against BJP for using NaMo App for the polls.  Accusing the BJP of violating Election Model Code of Conduct, here on Tuesday, AAP state coordinator Alok Agarwal said that BJP official twitter handle @BJPyIndia had twitted that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a BJP workers on ‘mera booth sabse majboot’, through the NaMoApp.

He added that the App of the Prime Minister would be used for political purpose, which is the violation of the EMCC. He also cited at the poll code rule which states : “The party in power whether at the Centre or in the State or States concerned, shall ensure that no cause is given for any complaint that it has used its official position for the purposes of its election campaign….” He informed that the CEO has assured them that they will inquire into it and then take action.
