BHOPAL: The Supreme Court (SC) disposing the petition filed by former chief minister Digvijay Singh and CBI stating that the hard-disk related to Vyapam scam was not tampered, seems to have made the BJP over-excited. BJP state president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, releasing an audio here, has appealed to celebrate on this occasion across the state. Nandkumar in the audio is heard telling CBI’s statement of no-tampering of hard disc as SC’s decision.
Nandkumar, in the audio, has appealed to celebrate at district and Mandal levels on Chouhan coming out clean. It is said in the audio, released on Thursday, to celebrate at district level on Friday and Mandal level on Saturday. According to sources, the celebrations have been postponed at the behest of BJP’s senior leaders.
Meanwhile, district BJP workers felicitated Chouhan on his coming back from Hanuvantia. This is third time, after probe into Vyapam scam, that BJP has done such type of celebrations. Whenever any statement in favour of Chouhan comes, BJP leaders celebrate.
At the same time, Congress, after CBI’s statement in SC, is now looking forward to hearing in petition filed by Prashant Pandey in the Delhi High Court. Congress is also watching CBI’s further investigations closely. Preparations to challenge the probe report of hard disc and pen drive by CBI in lower court are also being made.
