Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a sit-in at Collectorate office of the city on Wednesday against alleged propaganda of Congress in Rafale deal. BJP state president Rakesh Singh, said the apex court of the country had rejected claims of Congress national president Rahul Gandhi in Rafale deal. He said the rejection was a tight slap on the face of Congress and Rahul Gandhi should seek apology from the people of the country. Singh said Rahul should tell as to why did he put country’s security at stake.
He alleged Congress is the father of corruption in the country and it did scams in every field. He said the government led by Narendra Modi in 2014 decided to buy Rafale planes and bought with full objectivity. He said that the allegations of Congress were baseless. He claimed corruption used to take place during Congress rule as middlemen were used for deals. He claimed Congress was making hue and cry over Rafale deal as it would make the safety and security of the country strong and hike the morale of its soldiers.
Mayor Alok Sharma, ex-minister Umashankar Gupta, MLA Vishwas Sarang, Vishnu Khatri, rural district president Gopal Meena also addressed the gathering on the occasion. BJP on Wednesday handed over a memorandum addressed to the President in all district centres against the propaganda of Congress in Rafale deal.
