Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the then chief minister looted the state coffers and even forced the administration to remain at disposal of the BJP, alleged Congress sitting MP. Nath claimed that in last four months, the Congress government has freed the administration from the clutches of politics and made them work for the people and development of the state.
Corruption had spread in every department and the near and dear ones of the government had prospered at the cost of the common people, said Nath, claiming that “In coming five years the administration and the government will work only for the people”.
Earlier, on Hanuman Jayanti’, Nath, along with his son Nakul Nath, who is making his electoral debut, visited the famous Hanuman temple Jamsanwali and sought diving blessing for the goodwill of the state. Nath and his son Nakul Nath are in election fray from their family turf of Chhindwara as Congress candidates. The Congress candidates also visited Simariya and offered pooja at the other Hanuman temple. While Kamal Nath is contesting bypoll from the Chhindwara assembly seat to continue in his office, his son is looking to enter Parliament via his father home district.
