Bharatiya Janata Party, after releasing its two lists of candidates, is now worried over disappointed leaders.  The candidates, who could not get ticket, are now demonstrating against the party. Around two dozen BJP leaders have threatened to contest election as independent candidates.

According to the sources BJP state president Rakesh Singh and organisational general secretary Suhas Bhagat are proving ineffective in managing the disappointed leaders.  National organisational general secretary Ramlal has taken charge to settle down the things.

Ramlal is talking to disappointed leaders. These leaders have been asked to work for the party candidates. These leaders have also been warned of expulsion from the party.  Ramlal has spoken to the leaders of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to appease the disappointed leaders. RSS leaders have been asked to speak to the leaders raising voices of dissidence. Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar and state in-charge Vinay Sahasrabudhe are also working to appease the disappointed leaders.

These leaders are now being assured of getting post in the party organisation and the government, if the party forms the government.  The dissidents have become a big challenge for the BJP for the elections who are insisting on contesting elections as independent candidates than joining Congress.

These dissidents may eat into BJP’s vote share in the elections and would directly benefit the Congress. The central leadership of the party has clearly told the state leaders to immediately control saboteurs and the dissidents in the party.

The rebel rousers
It is first time in the BJP when the contenders are not listening to the top leaders. Ex- minister KL Agarwal on Tuesday filed nomination as independent candidate from Bamhori assembly seat in Guna district. Champalal Devda from Bagli, former MP Jitendra Singh Bundela from Maharajpur, Pannalal Shakya from Guna, KK Shrivastava from Teekamgarh, Ganga Uikey from Ghodadongri, Rajkumar Mev from Maheshwar, Usha Saxena from Sehore and Vel Singh Bhuria from Sardarpur have revolted. The BJP leaders are also turning rebellious on Bhojpur, Ashta, Ichawar, Vidisha and Kurwai seats.
