In counter move of Congress, BJP legal cell, on Monday, has filed a petition in ADJ Court demanding criminal case be registered against Congress leader Digvijay Singh, PCC chief Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia for misguiding the court as well as investigating agency like CBI over Vyapam scam by submitting fake CDs and documents. Congress leaders want to shield some politicians so they want to deviate the line of investigation of probe. Appeal has been made to take cognizance under sections 465,468,469,471,472,474,120-b and other provisions of the IPC.
In fact, on September 22, Digvijay Singh with Kamal Nath, Supreme Court lawyer Kapil Sibal, Vivek Thanka deposed in court of ADJ Suresh Singh in Vyapam scam. Legal Cell chief Advocate Santosh Sharma informed the media, “ Digvijay Singh submitted application in Supreme Court stating that CDs which CBI investigating agency is having is tempered and I have original CD provided by Whistle blower Prashant Pandey. Supreme Court instructed the CBI to verify. CBI found that CD which Digvijay Singh had provided, is itself fake and tempered.”
Advocate Santosh Sharma said, “Initially, we approached Shymla Hills and CBI with complaint but no action was taken, then we filed a petition in court seeking criminal case against trio—Digvijay Singh, PCC chief Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia for misguide the investigating agency as well as court in ongoing Vyapam probe just for their political benefit.” He alleged, “ Digvijay and others hatched a large conspiracy from the date of inception of crime while engaging in raising the fale and baseless allegations against the integrity of investigating agencies and other bodies with clear intent to gain political mileage by defaming others on false and baseless grounds, knowing well that allegations being leveled were false.”
