Bhopal: Biker killed by speeding bus

BHOPAL: A 32-year-old man died after being allegedly hit by a speeding bus at Koh-e-Fiza here on Friday morning. The accused unidentified driver left the bus at the spot after hitting the motorbike-borne and fled.

According to the police, on Friday at around 6 am, security guard Chaturbhuj Patel, a resident of Lake View colony was returning from his friend’s place in Mubarakpur, when the speeding bus hit his motorbike near Lalghati.

Patel who sustained serious injuries on his head was rushed to a nearby hospital after passersby informed the police about the incident. At around 7.45 am, he succumbed to his injuries. The police have seized the bus and have registered a case against the accused driver under relevant sections of IPC. Investigations were on to nab him, the police added.
