A 50-year-old MBBS doctor has been arrested by the Aishbagh police for stealing bicycle of a child. It has come to fore that the doctor is passionate about gifting bicycles to orphan children and for that he was stealing bicycles of children in the area of Gurunanakpura.
He has also adopted a child as well as he wants to spread love among children. As it was not easy to buy and distribute gifts or bicycles to poor children, he started stealing these bicycles that he gifted to chldren in Shamsabad. While he went about his bicycles distribution spree, no one in Bhopal ever doubted him or even questioned him for once.
Two bicycles recovered from his home in Shamsabad have been stolen from Aishbagh according to FIRs of their theft. The accused has been identified as Nirmal Jatav, a resident of Gurunanakpura in Aishbagh area of Bhopal. He works with the government hospital at Shamsabad. He lives there in government quarter and here his wife and son live in Bhopal.
In the complaint, Jitendra Singh chawda who lives in Aishbagh said there were reports of frequent bicycles missing from the area. As they came to know about it, the members of the apartment installed CCTV cameras in the area themselves. They found him stealing bicycles from the parking of the apartment and saw him getting an auto. He would board a train to reach Shamsabad with the bicycle. He was never doubted or held as residents themselves were hesitating in filing FIR for stolen bicycles. However after frequent complaints, they filed the FIR.
As they saw him in the CCTV cameras, they informed police and a team from Aishbagh went to Shamsabad where two bicycles were found with him.On being quizzed, he told police that he has adopted a child and he loves children. To gift them something he was stealing bicycles as it was not easy to buy them every time.
