Gandhwani: Bhagoriya festival was celebrated in village Awalda of Gandhwani block near here on Wednesday with great enthusiasm. Tribals danced to the tunes of mandal, dhol and DJ sounds and enjoyed the festivity.
During the celebrations, local MLA Umesh Singhar also joined the celebration with tribal youths and enjoyed dance steps. Some other local public representatives of region also attended the Bhagoriya festival. The public representatives gave prizes to music instrument players and encouraged them. District panchayat president Malti Patel, block Congress president Satpal Singh, Janpad president Kamala Dharve, BJP block president Suraj Singh and other dignitaries were also present during the Bhagoriya celebrations.
