Bhopal: The farmers celebrated the loan waive off announcement made by the CM Kamal Nath at the Pradesh Congress Committee office and mantralaya, here on Tuesday. Congress’ promise to waive off the farmers’ loan in just 10 days had helped it to form the government in MP. Nath took just 1.30 hours to waive off the loan in his maiden meeting after taking charge as the CM on Monday.
Farmers, including those from Sehore reached the PCC office and celebrated the government’s decision. They busted crackers and distributed sweets to the people. After PCC the farmers reached the mantralaya and played Dandiya and celebrated the loan waive off. Nath came out from the mantralaya, greeted the farmers and said that “We had fulfilled the promise in favour of farmers”.
The farmers were carrying seen carrying placards saying: Kamal Nath Zindabad and Rahul Gandhi Zindabad. Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja informed that the Congress will fulfil the promises made in vachan patra ,“ Kamal Nath’s decision to waive off farmers’ loan, is just the beginning.
