UMARIA: In village Mardar under Akashkot of the district, the kharif crop of almost 50 acre rakba of six families were burnt on Wednesday.

The affected family went to the programme of MP Gyan Singh, when they were informed that their barn caught fire, they called the fire brigade but the fire brigade could not reached to grainery as there was no way for it. Local people tried to extinguish the fire but they were failed.

The affected farmers were Nandua Singh, Jai Singh, Govind Singh, Lok Singh and Ramprasad Singh. A farmer said that when the barn caught fire MP, sarpanch, secretary patwari and other officials were present but they do not come here nor they give the sympathy.
