Bhopal: Barkatullah University (BU) has started center valuation for checking answer copies after fiasco in Sagar where students were caught checking answer copies sent from the university. Not just this, center valuation would be done under CCTV surveillance to avoid any controversy.
BU has now stopped giving copies to professors for valuation at home. After instructions from BU registrar UN Shukla, center valuation for answer copies of students having back papers in their fifth and sixth semester started on Saturday at Satya Bhawan under CCTV surveillance.
Shukla is monitoring, the ongoing valuation of around thirty five thousand copies of ten thousand students, from his cabin. Meanwhile, copies under question have been called back to the BU from Sagar and kept in sealed packet for further inquiry- to know how many answer copies have been checked?, who signed the copies as valuator? And if the sign put by the valuator are genuine or forged?
