BHOPAL: Bharatiya Janata Party has begun its series of demonstration after the Congress forming its government in the state. The BJP on Saturday organised a state-wide dhikkar andolan. The demonstration was led by BJP state president Rakesh Singh in Bhopal, ex- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Indore and leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava. Singh, during gherao of collectorate in Bhopal, said Congress, which was earlier talking of welfare of all sections of the society, is now drenched in pride after coming to power.
Singh said, Mr Bantadhar (Spoiler) has become ‘Karnadhar (Leader) of the state government. Singh claimed that the government, in the name of skill development, is asking youths to get employed as cattle grazers. He alleged that the law and order condition has totally collapsed and anarchy prevails everywhere. Singh said each party worker of the BJP is ready to take the bullet on its chest.
Singh claimed that BJP workers are being implicated in false cases. He alleged that Congress was working with feeling of political rivalry and also has revengeful attitude towards farmers in the state. The list of farmers was not sent to the Centre so that the money under Samradhi Yojana could not reach to the bank accounts of the farmers. Singh said Congress would have to pay price for all this.
On the other hand, Congress has ridiculed the demonstration of BJP. Its media convener Narendra Saluja said it was difficult to understand what BJP wanted to show by doing gherao of collector on a holiday. Saluja said the promises made by Chief Minister Kamal Nath to the people, are being fulfilled.
