BHOPAL: The demonstrations and rallies were held in the city on Wednesday, under the aegis of MP Bank Employees Association and All India Bank Officers Association, by banking personnel demanding redressal of problems caused due to demonetization. A memorandum in support of demands was also handed over to regional director of Reserve Bank of India.
The demands mainly include making public the cash given to banks on daily basis, functioning of all ATMs, stop cash transactions in banks till adequate supply of cash is done and providing adequate security to banking personnel. It was also stated in the memorandum that bankers are feeling insulted. They did not budge from extra hours of working but now they are not being paid proper compensation and remuneration.
