Bhopal: Bank of Baroda launched two new savings bank schemes – Baroda Mahila Shakti Savings Account and Baroda Senior Citizen Privilege Savings Account on Thursday. The bank’s MD & CEO, P S Jayakumar and Executive Director, SL Jain launched the two schemes.
The bank has also introduced “Baroda Samriddhi Deposit Scheme”- a fixed deposit product for 444 days offering high interest rates of 7.15%. Senior citizens would get benefit of additional interest rate of 0.50% on deposit under captioned scheme. On this occasion General Manager, Liabilities & Deposit Mobilization, OL& LRC, Jawahar Karnavat briefed the USP’s and benefits of the products to the bank’s customers.
Executive Director, Shanti Lal Jain said special benefits and privileges such as discounts on lockers rentals, waivers in loan processing charges and premium variants of debit card to name a few have been bundled in the products developed for women and senior citizens. Other senior executives of the bank were also present at the launch event.
