Bhopal: Audio of sarpanch seeking bribe goes viral

SAGAR: The CEO of janpad panchayat, Deori has written to the SDM seeking the removal of the sarpanch of Kusmi village. The sarpanch is charged with demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a beneficiary of PM Housing Scheme. Govind Rajak of Sooradehi village had complained to the CEO of the janpad panchayat that sarpanch Omkar was demanding bribe from him. The audio of the sarpanch seeking bribe went viral on social media sites. This goaded the CEO into action. CEO Rahul Pande said, “I have heard the audio. The beneficiary has also complained to me. I have written to the SDM to take action against the sarpanch.”
