BHOPAL: The arrangements for processions related to immersion of idols of Goddess Durga and Moharram on Wednesday in the city have been made.
The procession of Moharram would be taken out as following:
The ‘Tazias’ and ‘Savaris’ coming from Chola Road, Karond Square, Nishatpura, Gautam Nagar and Teela Jamalpura will go from Sindhi Colony Square, Islami Gate, Bajaria, Shahjahanabad Police Station Square, LBS Hospital, Imamigate, Sadar Manzil, Moti Masjid and Ibrahimpura to Imambara.
The ‘Tazias’ and ‘Savaris’ coming from Gandhi Nagar, Lal Ghati Square will go from VIP Guest House, State Bank Square, Imami Gate, Sadar Manzil and Ibrahimpura to Imambara. The ‘Tazias’ and ‘Savaris’ from New Bhopal, Jehangirabad, Barkhedi, Aishbagh will go from Lily Talkies Square, Pul Pukhta, Kali Mandir Square, Ranjan Pen Corner and Ibrahimpura to Imambara. The ‘Tazias’ and ‘Savaris’ coming from Railway Platform no.1, Ashoka Garden, Station Bajaria will go from Railway Overbridge, Betul Mukarram Masjid, Sabzi Mandi, Hanumanganj, Dava Bazaar, Bal Vihar, Shahjahanabad Square, Teen Mohra Gate, LBS Hospital, Royal Market, Fatehgarh, Sadar Manzil, Moti Masjid and Ibrahimpura to Imambara. Similarly, the ‘Tazias’ and ‘Savaris’ coming from New Bhopal, TT Nagar, Kamla Nagar and Roshanpura will go from Roshanpura, Banganga Square, Polytechnic Square, Moti Masjid, and Ibrahimpura to Imambara.
The procession related to immersion of tableaus of Goddess Durga will begin on Wednesday at 6pm from Bharat Talkies and conclude at the immersion site on October 13.
The tableaus, from various parts of the city, will gather at Bharat Talkies Square and go from Central Library, Itwara, Mangalwara, Jumerati, Janakpuri and Sindhi Market to Peergate. They would then go from Moti Masjid, Retghat, Ginnori, Kamlapark and Kilolpark for immersion at Rani Kamlapati Ghat. They may go to Prempura Ghat via Polytechnic Square, TTTI, City Depot Square and 25th Battalion. Another procession, will move from Talaiya Police Station Trisection, Lily Talkies Square, PHQ, Control Room, Roshanpura, Rangmahal, Jawahar Chauk to reach Prempura Ghat. For immersion of tableaus at Hathaikheda, entry would be made from Anand Nagar and for immersion at Khatlapura, tableaus will enter from PHQ.
