Bhopal: In a fresh twist over Kerwa Kothi, Ex-CM Arjun Singh’s wife Saroj Singh and his daughter Veena Singh filed a petition against mutation of Kerwa Kothi in favour of leader of opposition Ajay Singh.
Advocate Dipesh Joshi said, “We have filed petition in SDM (Huzur) court to verify how mutation of Kerwa Kothi in name of Ajay Singh was executed without knowledge of Saroj Singh. District court will settle the issue of title and domestic violence.”
Industrialist Sam Verma said, “We have filed an appeal in SDM court over illegal name change of Kerwa Kothi.” However, Leader of Opposition in state Assembly, Ajay Singh informed court that he was ready to bring his mother to Kerwa Kothi, provided she leaves behind manipulators. “If she (Saroj Singh) could free herself from her manipulators, she is welcome in my home (Kerwa Kothi),” he said.
Petition is already pending in district court over title and domestic violence in which protection officer has been assigned to take statement of Saroj Singh. Nearly 14 acre land was purchased in Mendora village under Ratibad police station in 1983 in the name of three persons—Arjun Singh, Saroj Singh and Ajay Singh. A 17,000 square ft kothi constructed on the said land was transferred to Ajay Singh.
