Bhopal: Ideologically, only one who endorses violence can praise Nathuram Godse, said the chairman of International Gandhian Initiative for Nonviolence and Peace, Rajgopal PV, here while reacting over BJP candidate Pragya Singh Thakur calling Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse a “patriot”. Taking strong exception to the controversial remark of the BJP Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate, Gandhians in the city, not satisfied with her apology on patriot remark, demanded the BJP to expel the party membership of the Pragya. On one hand people of other countries are trying to walk on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi, there are political leaders like Pragya Thakur who are disgracing the Father of the Nation, said Rajgopal while talking to Free Press here on Friday.

To mark the 150th year of Gandhi’s Dandi March, a ‘Jai Jagat Yatra’ will be taken out from Delhi and it conclude in Geneva and people from 17 countries are expected to participate in the yatra but in India, one who killed Mahatma has been hailed as ‘patriot’; the people should reject such leader publically, said the Gandhian. He also asked by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take strict action against Pragya, “Modi is running his government with the Gandhi-Chasma, he should come forward and save the dignity of Mahatma”.
