Bhopal: Anti-superstition demos at Regional Science Centre

BHOPAL: Regional Science Centre, Bhopal commemorated the 40th Foundation Day of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) by organising various educational extension activities, including anti-superstition demonstrations. At the outset, Prabal Roy, project coordinator and head of the centre, narrated the history of establishment of NCSM in 1978.  It was followed by a talk on ‘Role of Science Museums in the Development of Society’ by Arun Kiro, curator, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal. Around 125 students and teachers from Bal Bhavan School, Shyamla Hills, Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur and Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar were present on the occasion. An award-winning film produced by NCSM and Vigyan Prasar was also screened on the occasion.
