BHOPAL: The students of Barkatullah University staged a protest under the ABVP against the university management with demands including release of generate time-table of engineering department.
More than 200 students gathered outside the vice-chancellor’s office and raised slogans against the university management. Along with the demand to generate the time-table of engineering students which is already delayed by 4 months, the students also demanded for basic amenities like proper facility of drinking water and roads.
Other problems include seating arrangements in the central library; problems faced by pharmacy department students in getting jobs as the department is not PCI registered.
The students handed a memorandum to the VC and insisted that their demands be attended to at the earliest. VC at first tried to give assurance to the students but looking at the attitude of the students, he got the time-table generated, released in 20 minutes and handed it to the students.
