Bhopal: ADM shunted for demanding chicken, liquor from staffers

BHOPAL: The state government has transferred additional collector, Guna, Dilip Mandavi for allegedly demanding chicken and liquor from his subordinates.

Mandavi has been posted as deputy secretary at Mantralaya. Earlier, SDM Shivani Garg had posted a message on WhatsApp against Mandavi, suggesting tehsildars, revenue inspectors and patwaris not to entertain Mandavi's demand and also provide information to the authorities if the officer made any such demand.

Garg had also warned these officers of action if they fulfill the demands of the ADM. Other officers and employees, including Garg had also lodged a complaint with principal secretary, GAD that Mandavi was staying at Circuit House for 3 months and asks his subordinates to make payment for him.

It was also claimed that Mandavi used to demand liquor, non-veg food and other things. If his demands were not met then he threatens to spoil career of the officer.

It was also claimed that there was one audio recording in which Mandavi was heard misbehaving with officers during conversation on mobile phone. Meanwhile, Mandavi refuted the allegations. He said he would present his views before the senior officers.
