Bhopal: Father of the 14-year-old boy Aryan Tiwari who was killed on Thursday night, has now complained that the accused in the case should be tried as an adult. The accused is a minor and was charged under relevant sections.
Deceased’s father Hemant Tiwari has now filed a complaint and has asked police to ensure the real age of the accused so that he could be treated as an adult.
In his complaint to additional superintendent of police (ASP Zone 1), Sanjay Sahu the complainant said that he was sure that the accused is an adult and not a minor. Hearing his complaint, Sahu instructed Kamla Nagar police to verify his age through birth certificate of the accused and not use the educational certificates for it. The 14-year-old was murdered on Thursday after a trivial issue allegedly related to a girl. The alleged accused case was found to be 16-year-old boy who was then arrested the same night and booked under relevant sections.
