BHOPAL: The main accused of dumper accident case was arrested and sent to jail on Friday.
Son of a Lokayukta’s staff was killed in the incident. According to reports, the rashly driven dumper hit a car being driven by the boy. This led to heated argument between the two parties. Later, the dumper driver dragged the boy to TT Nagar police station and escaped after drumping him there. Dumper driver Parasuram Yadav, 32, of Neelbad, was arrested and produced in the district court on Friday from where he was sent to jail.
According to police, Yadav was driving dumper (MP-04-HE-1632) which hit the car in which Dinesh Parasar, 27, son of Kamlesh Parasar posted at Lokayukta office, was returning from Nadra Bus stand with his friends Vijay Patel, Yogesh Rajput, Shatyam Sharma and Subham.
The mishap occurred on Wednesday night at Roshanpura Square. Dinesh had climbed on dumper’s window in a bid to stop the vehicle. However, Yadav dragged him up to TT Nagar police station. After Dinesh fell on the ground unconscious, Yadav escaped from the scene. Police took Dinesh to hospital where attending doctors declared him brought dead.
