Bhopal: A bag found in new market kept the police department on its toes for an hour. The police and then the bomb disposal squad (BDS) were roped in to resolve the situation. To everyone’s relief it turned out to be a hoax as the bag was dumped in the area and had nothing to worry about but the onlookers and shopkeepers were quite apprehensive as the news spread.
Panic prevailed in the area for a while until it was assured by the BDS that there is nothing to worry about. The handcart owners had also slipped away from the area. According to TT Nagar SHO Virendra Singh the police team surrounded the area and called in BDS team. CSP TT Nagar Satish Samadhiya says that the teams have identified the owner of bag and no action would be taken against the informer.
