BHOPAL: The Aam Admi Party has raised question against the report submitted by the investigation team that had inspected the EVM and VVPAT, which had allegedly produced the symbol of BJP in trial run in Bhind.
AAP state coordinator Alok Agarwal informed in a press conference on Monday, that the team had submitted the report that no irregularity had been found in the working of EVM and VVPAT.
He added a few days back, in Bhind during the demonstration of the EVM and VVPAT chief electoral officer Saleena Singh had pushed the four buttons and the machine had produced three slips of BJP symbol. The CEO had also threatened a journalist not to publish the news.
He alleged the team had not taken any statement of the journalist, who was present at the time of demonstration and had submitted a report which was biased. He alleged ECI was concealing the irregularity and trying to justify the fault. He also alleged in Dhoulpur Rajasthan 18 EVMs had been removed which were giving only BJP symbol during mock poll, on Sunday. “Why is it happening that whichever machine is reporting fault, is giving only BJP symbol, and not others?” he asked.
