BHOPAL: Bhoplaites witnessed live musical concert of Sunanda Sharma, Ustad Rashid Khan and Javed Ali, at open stage of Ravindra Bhawan. The event was part of a concert ‘The Legends,’ organised in memory of Thumri queen late Girija Devi by Artist 440.
The concert began with the performance of classical vocalist Sunanda Sharma followed by magical performance of classical vocalist and playback singer Ustad Rashid Khan. He floored the audience with his popular numbers. The concert concluded with mesmerising performance of play black singer Javed Ali. Winning the hearts of music lovers, the singer in his charming voice presented old and new move songs like – Diwana huaa badal…,’ ‘Maula Mere Maula…’ the atmosphere was filled with patriotic spirit as he sang ‘Jahan Daal –Daal per and other similar songs…’ However it was the jugalbandi of Khan and Ali which left the audience wanting for more.
