Bhopal: The MP Hockey team thrashed Manipur hockey team by 5-0 in the 9th Hockey Junior Boys National Hockey c being played at Aurangabad. The league matches of pool-B were played on Friday. Academy’s player Ali Haider scored the first goal of the team in the third minute and in the ninth minute, Ali Akhtar scored the second goal for the team and the team gained a lead of 2-0.
Meanwhile in the 52th minute Alishan Muhammad scored another goal for the team. Academy’s player Akshay Awasthi then scored two more goals at the 54th and 57th minute. Manipur team was unable to score a single goal until the last minute of the match and lost the match by 5-0.
