BHOPAL: Minister of Sate for technical education and skill development (independent charge), school and labour, Deepak Joshi adressing a workshop on ‘Security and Domestic Workers’, said, 7.50 lakh youths will be made skilled in one year. This will include one lakh security guards and 50 thousand domestic workers.
Joshi said that suggestions received during the workshop will be included in the Skill Development Policy. He told the subject experts to raise flaws if any in the policy of the state government without hesitation.
Joshi dedicated star badge for the trained security guards. He said that trained guards will be identified by these badges. Joshi also inaugurated the exhibition related to Koushalam.
Principal secretary, technical education Kalpana Shrivastava said that deliberations concerning better working in security and domestic workers sector will be made in the workshop. Shrivastava further said that efforts will be made to increases the monthly income of the security and domestic workers by upgrading their skills.
A MoU was signed between Domestic Workers Sector Skill Counselling and Security Sector Skill Counselling and Skill Development Department. Beside this MoUs were signed with various companies for knowledge sharing.
