BHOPAL: Scholarship amount will be credited to the accounts of 65 lakh students on one click on January 12. The long-awaited disbursal of scholarships will be held on Thursday, although the school education department had prepared the documents in the month of October.
National Informatics Centre has prepared the Samagra Shiksha Portal for the school education department.
Through the portal various activities are conducted like admissions, distribution of cycles, mid day meal, scholarships and others.
In the state around 82 lakh students from class one to 12 are entitled to receive the scholarships. Eight various department provide 30 types of scholarships. Around Rs 500 crore will be transferred in the students’ accounts.
