Bhopal: 6000 cases of atrocities on women in two months

Bhopal: Home minister Bala Bachchan, in his written reply to a question raised by leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava in the House, told that 6000 cases of atrocities on women in two months have come up. Bachchan said 332 cases of murder, 213 loot and 3 dacoity were registered between November 11 and January 22. Bachchan said though a comparative chart of crimes has not been made. The highest number of cases of atrocities on women was filed in Bhopal where 445 cases were registered.
