Bhopal: On the occasion of Independence Day, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will confer medals on as many as 59 officers and employees.
These medals include 3 ‘Sarvottam Jivan Raksha Padak’, ‘1 Uttam Jivan Raksha Padak’, 6 President’s Vishisht Seva Padak for police department, 1 President’s Homeguard and Civil Safety Padak for exemplary service, 31 Sarahniya Seva Padak, 10 Sarahniya Seva Padak for jail department, 4 Sarahniya Seva Padak for Homeguard and civil safety and 3 Jeevan Raksha Padak.
Sarvottam Jivan Raksha Padak will be conferred on Basant Verma (posthumous) of village Dhargaon, tehsil Maheshwar, Deepak Sahu (posthumous) of Rajiv Nagar, Kotra Sultanabad, Bhopal and Bablu Martin (posthumous) of Vivek Nagar, Maihar.
Uttam Jivan Raksha Padak will be given to Reena Patel of Chhatarpur. President’s Vishisht Seva Padak will be conferred to Gaji Ram Meena, ADGP, jail, Ramlal Prajapati, IG (retired), Special Armed Force(SAF), Bhopal range, Jugal Kishore Dixit, deputy commander, 35th battalion SAF, Mandla, Sanjiv Deshpandey, deputy commander, 7th battalion, SAF, Bhopal, Niranjan Singh Rajput, platoon commander, 10th battalion, SAF, Sagar and Saud Zafar, head constable (retired), 7th battalion, SAF, Bhopal.
President’s medal for homeguard and civil safety will be given to Devi Prasad Tiwari, assistant inspector (M), Datia. President’s medal for commendable service for police department will be given to Vivek Sharma, IG/secretary, home department, Bhopal, Himani Khanna, commandant, 2nd battalion, SAF, Gwalior, Mukesh Shrivastava, commandant, 5th battalion, Morena, Hemant Chauhan, SP (north), Bhopal, Rajesh Singh Chandel, SP, Vidisha and Ramavtar Singh Kushwaha, inspector, SAF, 5th battalion, SAF, Morena.
