BHOPAL: Forty-four out of 52 districts reported below 10 corona cases in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Only eight districts have reported above 10 corona cases and, out of them, only two districtsóBhopal and Indoreóreported above 100 corona cases. The other six districts have reported corona cases ranging between 10 and 100.
The six districts include the remaining two major citiesóGwalior and Jabalpurówhich reported 13 and 61 corona corona cases, respectively. Their active cases are 379 and 868, respectively.
Indore reported 223 corona cases and Bhopal reported 171 corona cases, while their active cases are 1,616 and 2,542, respectively.
Six districts have reported no corona cases in Madhya Pradesh. The districts are Burhanpur, Bhind, Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Ashok Nagar and Mandala. Their active cases are 10, 31, 59, 1, 89 and 26, respectively.
Similarly, five districts reported just one corona case each and they are Khandwa, Chhatarpur, Jhabua, Mandsaur and Shahdol. Their active cases are 19, 31, 41, 183 and 85, respectively.
Singrauli, Sidhi and Narsingpur reported 2 corona cases each and their active cases are 79, 131 and 68, respectively. Seoni, Tikamgarh and Neemuch reported 3 corona cases each and their active cases are 134, 52 and 171, respectively.
Madhya Pradesh reported 718 corona cases and the infection tally rose to 784,461 and toll to 8,295. The number of active cases dropped to 11,344. Around 2,225 Covid patients were discharged in the state. Around 81,812 samples were sent for testing and 204 samples were rejected at the time of testing. The positive rate has gone down to 0.8 per cent.
