Bhopal: Over a four persons were duped of Rs 2 lakh in the name of getting a job abroad. They had also gone to Delhi to board a flight for Malaysia where they realised of the fraud. The victims had come across an advertisement on Facebook about a job in Malaysia.
FIR has been registered against three persons with MP Nagar police on Thursday. There is a woman among the three accused who are on the run. They have also left the building without paying rent where they were running their firm in MP Nagar.
According to police, the victims after coming into contact with the advertiser were told that they will get a job in Malaysia and for that they will have to give money. They together deposited Rs 11 lakh in the office of the firm that was being operated from a building in MP Nagar.
The victims had come from different parts of the state and had deposited Rs 54,000 each for the job. They were issued offer letters with the details of that they will fly to Malaysia from Indira Gandhi International airport. The victims reached the New Delhi to board the flight to Malaysia where they were told that their tickets are not valid. The victims then went back to Bhopal to sort the issue out with the accused Rashmi Pandey, Nitesh Kumar and Mayank who were not found in the building.
