BHOPAL: This year, 37 students of school education department’s Super-100 scheme have cleared the JEE Main. This scheme is implemented at Government Subhash Higher Secondary School of Excellence, Shivaji Nagar. Apart from this, one student from Vidisha Government School of Excellence, two from Government School of Excellence, Basoda (Vidisha) and nine from Hoshangabad district and three from Government School of Excellence, Indore have cleared the exam.
Under the department’s Super-100 scheme, two students from the merit list in Class 10 Board from each district’s government schools are selected. The state government makes arrangements for the education of these selected students in Class 11 and for coaching for competitive examinations in well-known vocational institutes, IIT, Medical and CPT etc. Total 13 students of CPT (affiliated to ICA Kanpur), 36 students NEET qualified and 28 passed in JEE Advance exams under the Super-100 scheme in 2015-16.
