Bhopal: 3 separate crimes against women reported

Bhopal: An advocate was thrashed by family members of a minor girl in Chola Mandir area on Wednesday night. A counter FIR has been lodged by police in the case following complaints from both sides. According to SHO of Chola Mandir Radheshyam Sengar, the 17-year-old girl is a student of class XI. In her complaint she stated that on Wednesday night there was a family function at her home when accused advocate who lives in her neighbourhood picked up a fight over parking of car.

During the scuffle, the alleged accused held her hand and molested her after which victim’s family members thrashed him. Meanwhile someone informed the police after which Dial 100 police personnel reached the spot and resolved their dispute.
Later based on the girl’s complaint, advocate was booked on charges of molestation whereas on the complaint of advocate, a case of assault was lodged against girl’s family members. In another case, a 25-year-old married woman was molested by her neighbour in absence of victim’s husband on Wednesday.

According to police, the accused is her neighbour. On Wednesday evening accused reached her home asking for her husband and when he came to know that her husband is not at home, he started molesting her after which she raised an alarm after which accused escaped from the spot. Later she and her husband approached police station and lodged a complaint. In the last incident, Ratibad police on Thursday arrested a youth for stalking, molesting a 16-year-old girl, student of class X and passing lewd comments on her.
