A 17-year-old girl, who is a student of class 9, was allegedly molested by her tenent. Police said the accused Rajnish Kumar hails from Sagar and is lives as a tenant at her home. According to the complainant, on Wednesday night, Rajneesh along with his 3-4 friends was playing loud music in his room and on instruction of her mother she went to stop him.
However after that his friends left the place but the accused grabbed her and started touching her body parts inappropriately after which she somehow managed to escape from the room.She returned back and told her father about the matter, who approached police with the complaint. Acting on the complaint Misrod police booked the accused under Section 354 of IPC and relevant sections of POCSO.
Meanwhile in another incident, two miscreants were booked for molesting a 14-year-old minor girl in TT Nagar locality. According to the statement given by her to the police the alleged accused Akash Yadav and Deepak Gothe, residents of Panchsheel Nagar, have been stalking her for the past several days. On Wednesday they allegedly waylaid her and asked to become friends with them. When she refused, they held her by her hand. She somehow managed to flee from spot and told her father about the incident. He then approached TT Nagar police with complaint acting on which police have registered case against the accused.
In another incident Nishatpura police have booked a person on charges of molestation of an 18-year-old girl while she was on her way to college at 12 noon on Wednesday. According to the statement of the girl the alleged accused has been stalking her for several days. He often used to pass obscene comments. Acting on the complaint police have booked him under relevant sections and detained him for further proceedings.
