Bhopal: State government has finally identified 25, 49, 451 farmers who will be benefited under Jai Kisan Rin Maafi Yojana- Congress’ farm loan waiver scheme. These numbers were finalized after approval from the banks’ board under One Time Settlement (OTS) Policy for NPA (Non-Performing Assets) loan accounts. Under this policy, approval for waiving off of Rs 10,123 crore loan was given.
The approval given by the boards of the banks include Sate Bank of India, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Punjab and Sindh Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Allahabad Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Central MP Grameen Bank and Narmada Jhabua Grameen Bank.
