Bhopal: The report of a rape of 20-year-old girl in a moving car has come as a rude shock to the state police which continuously boast about curbing the crime against women. The survivour is a sanitation worker in a residential colony.
Arun Sharma, investigating officer, said that after finishing her job, she was on the way to her home on April 17. As per the complaint, three people which included one woman were waiting in their car for her. They called the girl and after brief interaction, forcefully dragged the girl into the car and took her to Sehore where she was allegedly raped.
The accused repeatedly raped the girl at different places. After bringing her back to Bhopal and she was raped again. However, she managed to flee from their clutch and lodged complaint with Misrod police. Police has registered a case of rape under section 376 of IPC and launched a man hunt to nab the accused.
