BHOPAL: Jahangirabad police have nabbed three vehicle-lifters including two minors near Neelam Park and recovered five two-wheelers worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession. Acting on a tip off that a 19-year-old youth was moving suspiciously, police swung into action and detained him near Neelam Park. The youth, identified as Abhisek Jathav, failed to provide documents of the bike he was riding. On being questioned, he confessed to have stolen the bike. He revealed names of his two others accomplices who were involved in stealing 5 two-wheelers. The accused confessed that bike was stolen from Goyal lodge and one while Honda scooter was stolen from liquor shop at Barkhedi. They also lifted one Honda shine from a locality.
Police also nabbed two of his accomplices, both minor and recovered a scooter and bike from their possession. The police have recovered total 5 vehicles and have started further investigation to find out if detail of other gang involved in lifting of vehicles and their reselling.
