Two persons were nabbed out of the three accused who were involved in killing of 27-year-old Rajgarh resident Vikram Singh. He was found murdered with two bullets on Sunday morning near Bairasia. DIG Irshad Wali said his elder brother, his uncle-in-law and his son were involved in the killing.
Wali added, that in the initial investigation mobile phone locations of deceased Vikram Singh Yadav’s elder brother Hemraj was found to be changing frequently during the period in which deceased was shot and when he was detained and quizzed he confessed murder along with his uncle Jagdish Yadav and his son Kanhaiya Yadav.
The accused confessed that the reason behind murder was that deceased was heavily addicted to liquor. He alleged that the Vikram had Rs 7 lakh received after selling land over liquor and used to misbehave with the family members in inebriated state. His elder brother Hemraj was frustrated with his acts as he used to demand money for liquor and had already sold 2 bigha of his share of land around two years ago and took loan of Rs 1 lakh on one bigha land which was also spent on liquor.
Hemraj thus decided to kill his younger brother Vikram and when he came to know that deceased was going to meet his wife and to bring her back from Khajuri village of Eitkhedi in Bhopal where she was living with her parents from past 4-5 months after a fight with her husband, Hemraj, Jagdish and Kanhaiya, murdered him on Saturday night. Kanhaiya and Hemraj have been arrested and Jagdish was on the run and will be nabbed said Wali.
