Bhopal: The police have solved the case of murder of the eight-year-boy, student of class II whose body was found stuffed in a sack in bushes near Mubarakpur toll plaza. He was kidnapped and murdered by his 19-year-old tuition teacher due to his illicit relationship with deceased’s 32-year-old mother, said DIG Santosh Singh while speaking with the mediapersons on Tuesday.
DIG said that deceased Bharat alias Kartik Mahawar (8), son of Parashram the was kidnapped from school in the afternoon and then was strangulated to death by the accused Bittu alias Vishal Rupani with the help of Bharat’s shoe lace at his office in Krishna Plaza in the evening on Monday. His body was later dumped in the area and then recovered by police from near Mubarakpur toll plaza in Parwalia. The case was later transferred to Bairagarh police station.
During the investigation, it was found that the accused used to visit deceased’s house to teach him and later developed relationship with his mother. The accused used to call deceased’s mother as ‘Mami’ and they used to chat with each other over mobile phone till late night. Their call records confirm it. Recently, the family members had a fight when they came to know about the relationship and kin of deceased also roughed up Vishal. With the intention to settle score, he killed Kartik.
On Monday, the family members had gathered at police station and protested. The police pacified them but later they gathered at Christ Memorial School from where the deceased was kidnapped where the school staff was found justifying them of negligence. The police booked the accused under Sections 302, 364 and 201 of IPC. The accused has confessed killing the boy at his office. He said that he used his uncle’s bike to dump the body at the spot where it was found by police.
