BHOPAL: The strike of 108 ambulance staffers entered ninth day on Thursday, as political parties are reaching to hear the pains of the workers, but the state government is not bothered to solve the issue.

Congress state president Arun Yadav and other leaders reached the demonstration site and also sat on dharna with the workers. Yadav assured that the Congress party is with them and will stand with them for every step taken by them. He added that the workers demand are genuine and are according to law, the workers demand of ‘same work same pay’, eight hours working and salary are justified demands.

He alleged that the state government have nothing to do with the workers agony, these workers are sitting for last nine days in open sky, they have received sunburns due to continues sitting in under the sun. Leader of opposition Ajay Singh in his press statement asked the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to leave the obstinate behaviour and should come forward to talk with the employees. “If any untoward situation occurred the CM will be responsible”. He added.

Whereas the Aam Admi Party members also joined the strike and supported the movement, Amit Kothari demanded that the state government should regularised the workers as early as possible.
