Bhopal: Directorate of revenue intelligence (DRI) Indore and railway protection force (RPF) Bhopal sized an estimated 100 kilograms of ganja from the coached of Samta Express (12807) on Wednesday morning. The action which resulted in seizure of the heaviest chache of ganja in recent times by RPF in Bhopal was taken on Bhopal railway station after the train took a halt there.
Bhopal, a 9-member team of RPF Indore DRI Disha Paatni reached by road at around 6 am along with the RPF Bhopal reached the train as per the tip off and found as many as 20 packets of ganja in coach number S3 and as many as 30 packets of Ganja in coach number S6, in the toliet’s roof.
However, no arrest was made so far the teams are looking for CCTV footages of the station which the train crosses to ascertain as from where the chache was concealed inside the roof of toilets. The cache was then taken to the room of deputy station superintendent of the Bhopal railway station. The train had arrived from Vshakhapatnam and was heading towards Hazrat Nijamuddin railway station in New Delhi.
