Bhopal: 1.4 L MT extra wheat arrives in mandi

Wheat 3.68 Lakh MT (metric ton) have arrived in mandi in the state so far while last year it was 2.29 lakh MT. So, it is 1.4 lakh MT is more in comparison to last year during the same period. Besides, 15 lakh MT has been procured from 1.99 lakh farmers in the state and daily, 1.6 lakh MT is being procured. And 71 per cent of them have already been transported.  As far as arrangement is concerned, an extra 600 procurement centre have been made this year and there is sufficient arrangement of bags for convenience of farmers. Societies are making direct payment to farmer’s accounts.
