Rate reaches 10 paise after exit poll results

BHOPAL : After the results of exit polls for Lok Sabha elections, the betting market has also accepted that Narendra Modi would become the PM of the country. In the market of Bhopal, the rate for Modi becoming PM is 10 paise while Rahul Gandhi’s is Rs 20.The rate for Modi becoming PM has been low from the beginning. Mamta Banerjee, Jayalalithaa were also in the fray but the exit poll results have removed all the contenders.

The betting market is also considering Congress’ downfall in Madhya Pradesh. The rate for BJP winning 25 seats in MP is 35 paise while the rate for 27 seats is Rs 1.50. There are speculations that Congress can win maximum five seats. As far as Congress candidates are concerned, Kamalnath in Chhindwara, Jyotiraditya Scindia in Guna and Ajay Singh in Guna are the ones whose rates are less than the BJP candidates.

In Bhopal, the rate for BJP candidate Alok Sanjar’s victory is 20 paise while for Congress candidate PC Sharma, it is Rs 2.50. A person associated with betting maintains that the rates in betting market are fixed as per inclination of people. It is considered this time that BJP is going to lead and that is why its rates are low. It would be first time when there is lack of optimism over victory of Congress leaders in the elections.
