Below 1,000 cases in MP after a really long time, corona-positive rate reduced to 1.2 per cent

BHOPAL: After a long time, Madhya Pradesh reported below 1,000 corona cases on Wednesday, registering 991 fresh cases. The corona-positive rate reduced to 1.2 per cent.

The number of corona cases is reducing gradually in the state. At one time, the number of corona cases was very high and, now, it is making a nose dive. The number of active cases dropped to 17,137 in the state. Around 4,113 Covid patients were discharged. The infection tally went up to 782,099 and toll to 8,157. Around 79,794 samples were sent for testing, while 235 samples were rejected at the time of testing.

Indore reported 338 corona cases and its tally rose to 150,516 and toll to 1,347. Bhopal reported 191 corona cases and its toll rose to 936. Indoreís active cases reduced to 3,028, while Bhopalís active cases reduced to 3,988. Gwalior and Jabalpur reported 29 and 83 corona cases, respectively, while their active cases are 678 and 1,059.

Besides, Alirajpur reported zero corona cases with 12 active cases, while Bhind, Harda and Mandala reported 1 corona case each and their active cases are 38, 84 and 37, respectively.

Khandwa, Dindori and Damoh reported 2 corona cases each, while their active cases are 25, 31 and 588, respectively.

Burhanpur and Agar-Malwa reported 3 corona cases each, while their active cases are 16 and 88, respectively.

Katni, Singrauli, Barwani, Jhabua, Datia, Guna and Sheopur reported 4 corona cases each and their active cases are 40, 166, 141, 65, 91, 164 and 187, respectively.
