Bhopal: Taking a swipe at the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said those who have killed a cow and consumed her meat in full public view in Kerala are trying to glorify cow in Madhya Pradesh. Modi made the above remark at a public meeting in Chhindwara, the Lok Sabha constituency of PCC president Kamal Nath, on Sunday.

He ripped into Nath for a recent video in which the latter was heard saying that ticket could be given to anyone – it does not matter the candidate is criminal or corrupt – ability to win the election would decide ticket. He said that the state should be saved from such people and a Congress industrialist, with the approval of Namdaar (Rahul Gandhi), distributed tickets.

A leader is speaking at random against him, because he has stopped stealing of Rs 90,000 crore, Modi said, adding that he was called a ‘chaiwala’, ‘chowkidar’ and even the army general was not spared. Referring to Gandhi’s recent remark on Panama Paper, Modi said after using abusive words that leader said he had been confused, but if he was confused, his party was perplexed.

About the development of Chhindwara, Modi said Nath had lied to people, and the state government had done all the welfare work in that area. Nath has been an MP from Chhindwara for several years, but not development has taken place there, Modi said. Nath has invested money in Nagpur and Ghaziabad but never done anything in this area, the Prime Minister said.

“Nath has no role in Macha Gora dam, and the Spice Park set up by him, has been locked. Besides, the plywood factory opened by him is under and lock and key and its equipment have been taken away by his friends,” Modi said.Deceiving people is in the blood of the Congress, he said, adding that in Karnataka, instead of waiving loans, the government is sending farmers to jail.

Modi said Ravij Gandhi used to say that only 15 paisa of a rupee sent by Delhi reached the people. At that time the Congress-led government was ruling the country, so it means the party used to loot the people’s money, Modi said.
